Largely forgotten by many, this 1971-72 situation comedy/drama starred legendary film actor Henry Fonda as veteran LAPD detective Sgt. Chad Smith (Fonda) as he balances his career and the ups and downs of being a husband to wife Betty (Janet Blair) and loving father to three, 19-year-old daughter Cindy (Darlene Carr, “The Streets of San Francisco”), 16-year-old son Bob (Ronny Howard, “The Andy Griffith Show”, “Happy Days”) and 9-year-old son Brian (Michael-James Wixed).

Guest stars featured: Susan Oliver, Heather Menzies, Paul Petersen, A. Martinez, Butch Patrick, Neville Brand, Tim Considine, Erin Moran (Ron Howard’s later co-star on Happy Days), Richard Bull, Tim Matheson, Greg Mullavey and Florence Lake.
